This is what astral physics say, if the Jupiter had become 100 times larger in magnitude, it would become another star. But for recognize, the moon is the largest thing at night, however moon is the smallest thing in the cosmos. So, observatory is only the place, academy is only place, here you get academy, you get observatory, you get laboratory, so, this is the place to learn yoga, you get everything there——you get the classroom, you get the academy, you get the library, you get the observatory, you get the laboratory.
天体物理学这样说,如果木星再大100倍,它兴许会变成一个恒星;但如果是观测,那么月亮在夜间会看起来是夜空中最大的,然而,月亮却是宇宙中最小的星体。因此,天文台只是个地方,研究院只是个地方,但在(体式)这里,你却有 个“天文台”,你有个“实验室”,所以这就成了这学习瑜伽的地方,你在那里会得到一切——你会有教室、你会有研究院、你会有图书馆、你会有天文台,你会有实验室。
So, read these aspects which has come in one of my books, how āsanas are Adhyatmik Academy. Here, then, these things don’t become so incomprehensible, but if you are in an empirical, temporal state, you will say Prashant is speaking some absurd things—thought container, mind content; also mind container, and thought content. But, once you are in dynamics of it, you will understand, it is possible. Thought comes out of mind, mind comes out of thought, mind comes out of thought. If you are having the same thought on and on and on and on, you develop mind out of it. So, the mind is a product, which has come out of thought, the thought can be turned out from mind, so, understand how the… there is an aspect of thought-ology in yoga.
所以去读那本书——《瑜伽体式——真我的研究院》,里面有我对这些层面的阐述;那么在这里,这些东西就不会变得那么不可理解,但是如果你处在实际经验性的、世俗的状态里,你就会说,普尚净说些荒谬的东西——什么“思想是容器,头脑是内容;头脑是容器,思想是内容”。但是,一旦你处在它的动态过程中,你就会理解,那是可能的,即思想来自于头脑,头脑来自于思想,头脑来自于思想。如果你持续有同一个念头,你就会从它那里发展出头脑(意识)。因此,头脑意识成了个产物,它来自与思想,思想也能从头脑里产生出来,因此,要去理解,在瑜伽中存在着 “思想学”这个方面。
So, this is one of the precepts which I have been given in the book, concept, precept, scheme of āsanas in the Classroom Book, Class Work Book. So, there you can look at this, there is a chapter on Thought-ology. Then, if you recall in my Educational Series, thought, thinker, thinking. I explained the dynamic meditation there. So, start having your inquiry into it, you just want to be thoughtful, and you don’t bother there is a thinker, you don’t think about the thinker, you want to be thoughtful, now, how can you to be thoughtful without thinker?

You don’t identify why is the thinker, what is the thinker, how is the thinker, profile of the thinker, characteristics of the thinker, you don’t bother about it, you are just told to have a thought. Thinking, we don’t bother about thinking, so, there is a thought process, there is a thinking process, there is a thinker process. There is thought on about the thought, there is thought about thinking, there is thought about thinker.
你不去理解为什么会有思想者,什么是思想者,思想者会怎样,思想者的轮廓,思想者的特点,你不在意它,你只是被告知要有思想。思想过程,我们也不在意思想过程,所以,存在着属于思想的过程、存在着属于思想过程的过程、存在着属于思想者的过程;存在着思想上的思想、存在着思想过程上的思想、存在着思想者上的思想。
I am sorry, if I am keeping your brain spinning. But, if you are educative you will get to know, you will have these divisions for you, so that they can see that, yes, there is a thought of the thought. How do I think is a thought again, how am I thinking, why am I thinking, this is the thought process on thinking. There is a thought process on thinker. So, therefore, you can read that those topics which come in Classroom Work, anyway, now, go to Sarvāngāsana.

Go to Sarvāngāsana, if you are not doing it, go fast to Setu Bandha Sarvāngāsana or forward bends, or you can go for chair Sarvāngāsana, you can go for wall Sarvāngāsana, you can go for independent Sarvāngāsana. You can settle down, and if you are not doing, I have given other options, Setu Bandha Sarvāngāsana, Jānu Śīrṣāsana also, menstruation ladies, since you are not doing Śīrṣāsana also.
去做肩倒立,不做肩倒立,快速去做桥式肩倒立,或者前屈,你可以做椅子上的肩倒立,可以做靠墙的肩倒立,可以中间做独立的肩倒立。安置好自己进入肩倒立,不做肩倒立的我也给了其他选择,桥式肩倒立,单腿头碰膝式,生理期女士,因为你们刚才也没做头倒立。
So, how, find out, any āsana can be frontal-hole of thoughts, because they are frontal-hole of state of mind, and we are all doing yoga, because we get desirable state of mind, it’s not only that we get good bodies, we are getting desirable state of mind that’s why we are doing even when the bodies are not efficiently working, sufficiently working, some of you who are senior citizens. I am sorry, I am not, I don’t mean to offending you by calling you senior citizens. But, then there are definitely a few, they may not call themselves senior citizens, but they are aged. So, they are not looking for so much corporeal benefits. So, you know that, yoga gives you a state of mind. A desired state of mind, or unexpected state of mind which is positive, which should be sought after.

So, you all know Sarvāngāsana makes your mind quiet, that’s all. As a consumer, you only look for that. Let me, I will become quiet in my mind. Let me become quieter in my mind. How can I become more and more quieter. That’s what you will be doing it. Is that right? So, that’s is consumerism, that is not fellow-ship. So, I won’t be objected of you go for quiet state of mind, yes, you should go for it, because there is opportunity, these is the condition which bestows it, there is a condition which grants it, so, take it, I won’t say don’t reject it.
因此,你们都知道肩倒立式会让你的头脑平静,也就这样了。作为一个消费者,你只去寻求这一点——让我的头脑变得平静,让我的头脑变得更平静,我如何才能变得越来越平静,那就是你想要做的,对吧?因此,那是消费主义思想,那不是(瑜伽)“研究生”的身份。所以,我并不反对你去寻求平静的头脑状态,是的,你应该去追求它,因为这里是有机会得到平静的,这个体式会赋予你这个状态,存在着授予的条件,所以拿去,我不会说我反对它。
So, start understanding how Sarvāngāsana is a typical kind of position, if you recall last time I had said, during some session, Sarvāngāsana is an exhalative āsana, particularly independent Sarvāngāsana, then if you are in chair Sarvāngāsana, you will voluntarily inhale as well, you can use the inhalative force; but, if you are in independently doing Sarvāngāsana, then, inhalation is just reaction of your exhalation, so, this is a more exhalative pose, that’s why you get the effect of Sarvāngāsana which is unique to Sarvāngāsana. It’s not that great volume of exhalation is Sarvāngāsana, but the confinement of exhalation, the process of exhalation is such that the mind is made serene, the mind is made quiet, the mind gets relax, the mind becomes rectified.
因此,开始去理解肩倒立式是个典型性的姿势——如果记得我在有的课上说的——肩倒立式是个呼气性质的体式,尤其是独立的肩倒立式,如果你在椅子上的肩倒立,你也会主动吸气,你会去使用吸气的力,但是,如果你是独立做肩倒立,那么吸气只是你呼气的反应,因此,这更多地是个呼气性质的姿势,那就是为什么你能获得肩倒立式的功效,也是这个体式非常独特的一点。并不是说大量的呼气就成肩倒立了,而是呼气的区域、呼气的过程是这样的,它就能让头脑宁静,让头脑平静,头脑会获得放松,头脑会得到修正。
So, as a consumer, don’t just look for that state of mind which is cherished by all practitioners. So, when you want to make the mind quiet, we go for Śīrṣāsana and Sarvāngāsana. I will not say anyone going for Sarvāngāsana to become dynamic, to become vibrant. For to become vibrant, you will go for Viparīta Daṇḍāsana, is that right? They will do few Ūrdhva Dhanurāsana to become vibrant, that is why I’ve heard some students saying that I have kept myself young because of backbends, the back-bending have kept myself young, and that’s why they are fascinating to do backbends. Because backbends keep them young. They want to remain young, I don’t know what is their mission in life to be young. It is just to enjoy the youth that they want to be young, lifelong.
因此,作为一个消费者,不要只是寻求那种头脑状态,即所有习练者都想要的状态。所以,当你想让头脑平静,我们会去做头倒立、肩倒立。我不会说任何人做肩倒立会变得活跃、变得兴奋,因为想要变得兴奋,你会去做双腿内收直棍式,对吧?他们会做几个上弓式而变得兴奋,这就是为什么我听见很多学生说,我让自己保持年轻,因为练习后弯,后弯让我保持年轻态,那就是为什么他们特别热衷于做后弯,因为后弯能让他们保持年轻,他们想要保持年轻,我不知道他们在生命中保持年轻的使命是啥,他们之所以想要年轻,无非是想享受年轻态,终生享受。
